I KNOW WHAT IT IS LIKE TO CARRY THE LOAD OF LEADERSHIP...
Years ago, I began asking many of the same questions my clients ask today.

"How do I say 'no' when so many things seem important?"
"How do I draw boundaries without feeling selfish or guilty?"
"How do I stop carrying so much without losing the parts of myself I value most?"

The dilemma is real.

Capable, caring people often become the ones others depend on. You step in quickly. You solve problems. You absorb pressure. You keep things moving.

At first, it may look like strength. It may even feel like love. But over time, carrying too much begins to cost you.
You may notice yourself becoming less lighthearted and more irritable. Less free and more reactive. Less present and more burdened by the weight of everyone and everything around you.

And even then, you keep stepping in — because not doing so feels selfish, uncaring, or disloyal.
I know this space well, both personally and professionally.
THERE IS ANOTHER WAY FORWARD...
You can care deeply. You can remain meaningfully connected. You can continue showing up responsibly and faithfully.

And you can carry less.

My coaching helps thoughtful, responsible people become clearer about what is truly theirs to carry — and what is not. The goal is not to become detached, indifferent, or less caring.
The goal is to become more grounded, more thoughtful, less reactive, and more free in how you live, lead, and relate to others.

A CALM, THOUGHTFUL COACHING SPACE...
Coaching with me is not about quick fixes, performance pressure, or surface-level advice.
It is a space to slow down.

To notice the patterns, assumptions, emotional pressures, and relationship dynamics that keep you overextended.

Together, we work toward a more differentiated way of living and leading — one that allows you to stay connected to the people and responsibilities that matter most without losing yourself in the process.
Clients often come to coaching because they feel:
-
Emotionally exhausted
-
Quietly resentful
-
Responsible for everyone else’s peace
-
Stretched thin across too many roles
-
Reactive under pressure
-
Unable to rest without guilt
Our work together will create greater clarity, steadiness, freedom, and emotional maturity in the face of those pressures.
DECADES OF WALKING WITH OTHERS...
I bring to this work decades of experience as a pastor, restaurant owner and operator, life and leadership coach, coaching instructor, and mentor coach. I am credentialed as a Professional Certified Coach through the International Coaching Federation, as well as a Certified Executive and Leadership Development Coach and Professional Life Coach.
I teach introductory and advanced coaching courses with the ICF-accredited Professional Christian Coaching Institute and serve as an approved Mentor Coach for those pursuing coaching credentials. My doctoral work focused on the heart of Bowen Family Systems Theory — differentiation of self — in conversation with Trinitarian theology. I am also certified in the Taylor-Johnson Temperament Analysis and proficient with DISC profiles.
I know what it is like to carry the load of leadership. I also know there is a better way to carry what is truly yours — and to release what is not.
My Christian faith deeply shapes who I am and how I show up in the coaching space: with reverence for the person in front of me, respect for their freedom, and trust that growth cannot be forced. I consider it an honor to work with people from many faith backgrounds, as well as those who claim no faith background.
The only agenda I have is for the growth and change you wish to make in this space.
No pressure.
Only growth.
